Transforming a legacy enterprise platform for the modern era
Pulse Secure's Connect Secure VPN had become the industry standard for enterprise secure remote access, but its admin interface reflected years of incremental feature additions built on aging HTML and Perl technology. IT administrators struggled with complex workflows, inconsistent interfaces, and a user experience that hadn't kept pace with modern expectations.

Workflow Audit & Redesign
We conducted a comprehensive audit of every administrative task within Connect Secure, mapping user journeys, identifying pain points, and documenting mental models. This research informed a complete rethinking of task flows, reducing clicks and introducing progressive disclosure.
Visual Design System
We originated a new visual language that balanced enterprise professionalism with modern usability patterns. The system included a comprehensive component library, typography scale, color system, iconography, and interaction patterns.
Angular Component Library
Working with Pulse Secure's internal team, we codified our design system into a reusable Angular component library. This ensured design consistency across all development efforts and enabled rapid feature development.
Full-Stack Implementation
We deployed a dedicated front-end development and QA automation team to implement the redesigned interfaces, replacing legacy views with modern Angular components while maintaining zero downtime.
